Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vito Mazzini (ranked 114 p4p, 16 weight class) and Yef Yew (ranked 120 p4p, 17 weight class). Mazzini comes to the cage accompanied by Fade To Black. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazzini connects with a leg kick. Yew looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mazzini lunges at Yew with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Yew's hand.
A slow jab from Mazzini misses its intended target.
Mazzini staying out of range there.
Mazzini looks to score with a jab to the body but Yew is just out of range.
Yew fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mazzini, pushing him back against the cage.
Yew misses with a hook from the clinch.
Yew lands with a left to the head.
Mazzini lands a right hand.
Mazzini lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Mazzini working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Yew lands a body shot.

Yew makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Mazzini tries to work over Yew's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A nice left hand lands by Yew.
Yew tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mazzini is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Yew pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Mazzini changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Yew fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Yew connects with the punch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mazzini tries to clinch but Yew moves away
and Yew counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mazzini plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Mazzini takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Yew throws a lazy right hand but Mazzini sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mazzini's corner calls for a 1-2. Mazzini obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mazzini misses the shot to the body.
Mazzini misses with a jab to the body
and Yew connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A bone on bone clash there as Yew blocks the leg kick.
Mazzini swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Yew counters with a big right hand! Oh Mazzini is in trouble here! Yew follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yef Yew!
Yef Yew is the new middleweight champion!
Yef Yew decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
