Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jervis Tetch (ranked 1574 p4p, 255 weight class) and Mat Diaz (ranked 1447 p4p, 232 weight class). Diaz has chosen I Got Five On It as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jervis Tetch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mat Diaz!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tetch to score with a decent uppercut.
Tetch cracks Diaz with a good jab.
Tetch swats away the attempt to clinch by Diaz.
Diaz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tetch was well out of range. Poor timing from Diaz.
Diaz takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Diaz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Tetch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tetch misses with a straight right.
Tetch buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A jab from Diaz misses.
Diaz rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tetch counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Mat Diaz has been cut.
Diaz stuns Tetch with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tetch on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Diaz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diaz throws a looping overhand right but Tetch ducks down to avoid it.
Tetch moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tetch lands a jab to the nose.
Diaz is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tetch misses with a leg kick.
Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Tetch finish him?
Jervis Tetch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Diaz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
Tetch has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rusterman's in the buildup to the fight.
Diaz throws a jab when Tetch was well out of range.
Tetch motions for Diaz to come forward. Tetch throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Tetch throws a body punch but Diaz moves out of range.
A solid body kick from Tetch.
Tetch throws a leg kick that is checked
and Diaz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A solid leg kick lands there for Tetch.
A good leg kick by Tetch.
A punch lands to the side of Tetch 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tetch manages to avoid it.
A jab lands there for Diaz.
Tetch is rocked!
Tetch throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Oh Tetch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tetch switches off momentarily and Diaz cracks him with a monster right hand! Tetch topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Diaz dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Diaz!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mat Diaz!
Our winner, Mat Diaz, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
