Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Morueco (ranked 1142 p4p, 151 weight class) and Bjarni Agnarsson (ranked 948 p4p, 131 weight class). Morueco comes into the arena with The Pretender blaring out of the sound system. Agnarsson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Pearl. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Morueco. Beautiful body shot.
Morueco fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Morueco cracks the inside of Agnarsson's front leg.

Agnarsson misses with a leg kick
and Morueco counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Morueco swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Morueco. Agnarsson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Morueco throws a series of strikes that have Agnarsson backpedaling.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morueco dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Morueco is looking to wear down Agnarsson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Morueco tries to close the distance and clinch but Agnarsson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Morueco is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Agnarsson.
Agnarsson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Morueco changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Agnarsson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Morueco keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Morueco smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Agnarsson is still on wobbly legs! Can Morueco finish him?
We've been hearing reports that Morueco has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Agnarsson misses with an uppercut
and Morueco counters with a huge left! Agnarsson is in big trouble! He's backing up but Morueco isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Agnarsson from any more damage. A dominating finish by Morueco!
