Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Shamil Zavurov (ranked 6919 p4p, 531 weight class) and Wesley Smith (ranked 18542 p4p, 679 weight class). Zavurov comes to the ring accompanied by Rizavdi Ismailov - Vpered Akhmat. Wesley Smith has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Shamil Zavurov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shamil Zavurov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wesley Smith!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a jab.
Smith misses with an uppercut. Zavurov saw that one coming.
Smith walks forward, straight into a front kick from Zavurov.
Smith misses with a body shot.
Zavurov throws an overhand right that lands on Smith's shoulder, as Smith tries to avoid the shot.
Zavurov pivots, looking for a leg kick but Smith is out of range and Zavurov settles back down.
Zavurov walks into a straight right hand from Smith.
A telegraphed right hand from Smith misses the target.
Smith thuds his right hand into Zavurov's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Zavurov connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Zavurov tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zavurov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Smith lands a jab.
Wesley Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Zavurov is rocked!
Smith lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oh Zavurov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Zavurov throws a body kick that misses.
Smith lands a jab to Zavurov's midsection.
Smith closes the distance and catches Zavurov with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Zavurov is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Zavurov is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Zavurov is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Smith takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Wesley Smith!
Wesley Smith spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
