The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coffey doesn't manage to clinch there - Los Escos circles away.
Los Escos throws a nice looking combination but Coffey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Coffey takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Los Escos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Los Escos lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Los Escos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Coffey circles away quickly and effectively.
Los Escos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Coffey seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Los Escos falls off balance throwing a combination

and Coffey counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Los Escos!

Coffey tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Coffey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Los Escos throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Coffey keeps control of Los Escos as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Los Escos tries to circle away but Coffey has him pinned against the cage.
Coffey goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Coffey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Los Escos just stands there and leans against the cage.

Coffey has clasped his hands together around Los Escos's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

It looks like Myles Coffey has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Los Escos throws a right hand that Coffey ducks under and follows up with a left that Coffey also avoids with ease.
Coffey is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Los Escos.
Los Escos throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Coffey crashing down! Coffey tries to stagger back to his feet but Los Escos just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Coffey asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

A less than humble Cristobal Los Escos misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
