Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Creastalson Barrerra!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrerra avoids a punch combination nicely.

Barrerra drives through with a takedown into Welch's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Welch manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Barrerra has his foot on Welch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Welch works his way back into a safe position though.

Welch is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barrerra defends well.

Barrerra shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Barrerra was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barrerra throws a chopping leg kick but Welch manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Welch fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And Barrerra tries to counter it with a takedown but Welch pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Welch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barrerra doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Barrerra manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

As Barrerra tries to get set, Welch tries to push him back and clinch up but Barrerra manages to avoid the attempt.

Welch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Barrerra walks away with a smile on his face. Welch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
