Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Manson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Sears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sears ducks under a wild hook from Manson.
Sears throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sears dives in for a single leg takedown but Manson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Sears closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Manson quickly recovers to half guard.

Manson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sears is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sears fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Sears is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Manson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Manson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sears doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sears manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Manson has his foot on Sears's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sears works his way back into a safe position though.

Manson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sears defends well.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Manson is defended easily by Sears.

Sears sneaks out the side door and pushes Manson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Manson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Sears frees his head nicely. Oh but Manson has switched to an armbar! Sears is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

In his post fight interview, Tyson Manson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
