And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Tuttle!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briscoe takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Briscoe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Briscoe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Briscoe defending well as Tuttle loads up on a big left hand.
As Tuttle looks to move away, Briscoe throws a big counter combo but Tuttle just gets out of the way.
Tuttle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Briscoe clinches.
Briscoe looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Briscoe gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Briscoe working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Briscoe lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tuttle working to try and regain half guard.
Tuttle sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuttle has hold of Briscoe's hands but Briscoe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tuttle has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Iron Fist Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Tuttle is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Briscoe is tapping! Great win for Tuttle!
