Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Corll (ranked 730 p4p, 121 weight class) and Orlando Boom (ranked 1365 p4p, 222 weight class). Corll's entrance music is Candyman. A fine choice. Boom has chosen I Walk Forever as his entrance music. Orlando Boom is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Dean Corll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Orlando Boom!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Orlando Boom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corll looks to land a combination. Boom sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Orlando Boom has been cut.
Corll dodges the punch combination from Boom.
Corll chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boom can pounce on him.
A head kick by Corll misses
and Boom counters with a nice uppercut.
A head kick misses from Corll.
Boom works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Corll fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boom connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Corll lands with a right hand.
Corll swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Boom flicks out a counter leg kick but Corll steps away.
A combination from Corll does no damage.
Boom tries to close the distance and clinch but Corll swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boom misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Corll throws the kick towards the body but Boom avoids it.
Boom is looking to land body kicks.
Corll throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Corll seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Boom thumps Corll with a low kick.
Boom doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Corll counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Boom thinking.
Boom throws an off balance right hand
letting Corll counter with a right hand.
Good work by Corll as he checks the leg kick.
Corll throws a big shot that misses.
Boom thows a leg kick but Corll checks it
letting Corll counter with a right hand.
Boom throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Corll can't find room to land a body shot as Boom controls the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Corll displaying some good clinch control by pressing Boom up against the cage.
Corll goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Boom lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Corll is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Corll lands on the inside with an uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Boom tries to break the clinch but Corll is controlling the position.
Boom is trying to break the clinch but Corll has him pressed against the cage.
Boom lands a left hand.
Corll working aggressively here.

Boom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Corll moves out of range of the strikes.
Boom throws a looping overhand right but Corll ducks down to avoid it.
Corll swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Corll checks a leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boom closes the distance but Corll moves to the side
and Corll counters with a nice uppercut.
Corll dodges the punch combination from Boom.
Boom takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.


That has opened up Orlando Boom's cut even more.
Corll misses the jab.
Boom throws a lazy uppercut
and Corll counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Corll scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
An inside leg kick lands from Boom.
Corll lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boom circles away quickly and effectively.
It seemed like Boom was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Corll misses with a jab, cross combination.
Boom bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Corll's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Corll ducks under a wild hook from Boom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boom takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Boom throws a lazy head kick
and Corll counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Corll closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Boom! Corll dives in looking to finish! Boom is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dean Corll!
During a confident post fight interview, Dean Corll thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
