Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Offord (ranked 3266 p4p, 454 weight class) and Quinoa Smiff (ranked 550 p4p, 90 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiff misses with a takedown attempt - Offord sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Offord misses with a wild body shot.
And Smiff tries to counter it with a takedown but Offord pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Offord definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Smiff takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Offord lands a left and a right that send Smiff crashing to the mat, dazed. Offord thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looked like Offord was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Smiff.

Smiff tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Offord was well out of range. Poor timing from Smiff.

Offord is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smiff.

Offord is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Smiff has latched onto it... Big trouble! Smiff pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Offord is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Smiff!
