PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Snake Dickskin (ranked 4323 p4p, 474 weight class) and Leon Valentine (ranked 6021 p4p, 618 weight class). Leon Valentine told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Valentine.
It seemed like Valentine was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Valentine keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Valentine gets tackled into the cage by Dickskin. Dickskin maintains the clinch.
Dickskin lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Valentine or not.
Dickskin scores with a nice hook to the head.

Dickskin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dickskin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Valentine.
Valentine looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dickskin digs a good body shot into Valentine's ribs.
Dickskin scores with a sloppy right hand. Valentine should have avoided that one.
Dickskin is looking to wear down Valentine with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Dickskin lunges at Valentine with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Valentine's hand.
Dickskin looks to score with a jab to the body but Valentine is just out of range.
A little jabbing left from Valentine on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Valentine throws out a counter right but Dickskin avoids it with no problem.
Dickskin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Dickskin moves into range and clinches up with Valentine.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Dickskin.
Valentine looks winded!
A right hook to the body lands for Dickskin.
Dickskin lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Dickskin lands a hook that snaps the head of Valentine backwards.
Dickskin works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Dickskin manages to break the clinch.

Dickskin lands a left and a right that send Valentine crashing to the mat, dazed. Dickskin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Valentine is rocked!

It looks like Leon Valentine has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dickskin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Valentine at a distance.
Valentine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Valentine leaves his chin hanging out and Dickskin seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Valentine crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

After winning the bout, Snake Dickskin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
