Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Brophy (ranked 73 p4p, 9 weight class) and Tero Susi (ranked 150 p4p, 20 weight class). Brophy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls. Tero Susi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tero Susi!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brophy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Susi at a distance.
Brophy throws a quick inside leg kick.
Brophy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Susi, pushing him back against the cage.
Brophy misses with some punches.
Susi lands a right hand that snaps the head of Brophy backwards.
It looks like Mikael Brophy has been cut.
Susi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Susi.
Susi looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Brophy throws a head punch that misses.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Brophy.
Susi keeps control of Brophy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Susi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Brophy's brow.
Brophy tries to work over Susi's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Susi lands a left hand that snaps the head of Brophy backwards.
Brophy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brophy blocks a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Susi throws a hook to the side of Brophy's head but Brophy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brophy connects with a leg kick. Susi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A punch lands to the side of Susi 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Brophy moves into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Susi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Brophy swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Susi prevents a body shot from Brophy.

Susi tries to throw a body punch but Brophy avoids it by throwing Susi back against the cage.
Brophy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Brophy, right into the meat.

Brophy throws a series of punches but Susi avoids them all with ease.

The crowd cheers as Susi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brophy doesn't seem phased though.

Susi tried to score with a low kick but Brophy checks it.
Brophy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Susi just misses with a punch to the body.
Susi throws a looping overhand right but Brophy ducks down to avoid it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Susi throws the left hand but Brophy avoids the punch easily.
A quick step to the side and Brophy tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brophy fails to land with a series of punches.

Susi keeps Brophy at a distance using the push kick.
Brophy throws a leg kick that is checked
enabling Susi to counter with a crisp jab.
Mikael Brophy's cut is getting worse.
Susi throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Brophy tumbling to the canvas!
Brophy is rocked!
Brophy keeping full guard, as Susi tries to pass.
Oh Brophy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Susi is looking to advance position but Brophy has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Susi is desperately trying to improve his position but Brophy has a good base and remains in mount.

Susi is squirming around, avoiding Brophy's attempts to control the action.

Susi bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Susi wants to control from the top but Brophy keeps moving.
We've been informed that Susi has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Susi looking to sit in guard and control but Brophy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Brophy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Susi wants to control but Brophy postures up.
Susi is looking to regain half guard here but Brophy keeps moving and retains side control.
Brophy content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Brophy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

and Susi counters with a stiff right hand.
Brophy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Brophy misses with a body kick.
A clash of legs there as Susi blocks the low kick.
It seemed like Susi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Brophy attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Brophy has closed the distance and engaged Susi in a clinch.
Susi lands a takedown into guard.
Brophy keeping moving, preventing Susi from controlling successfully.
Tero Susi has got the better of the ground game so far.
Susi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brophy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Susi controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Susi pushes down on Brophy's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Brophy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Susi.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Susi throwing shots but Brophy is blocking nicely.
Susi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Susi keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Susi seems to be working for a kimura but Brophy defends the submission attempt.
Susi is pressing down on Brophy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brophy is holding on for now.

Susi looks to land a strike but Brophy avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Susi stands and throws Brophy's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Susi lands a couple of good shots and Brophy has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Susi working for a choke but Brophy is defending well.
Brophy wants to control his opponent's hands but Susi gets his hands free.
Brophy finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Susi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brophy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brophy shrugs it off.

Brophy avoids a series of strikes thrown by Susi.
Brophy can't escape the position.
Susi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Brophy can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Mikael Brophy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
