Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terunari Kagiyama (ranked 3669 p4p, 351 weight class) and Enzo Dimelo (ranked 3628 p4p, 366 weight class). Enzo Dimelo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Enzo Dimelo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Enzo Dimelo!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimelo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Dimelo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kagiyama counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Kagiyama shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dimelo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Kagiyama wants to control from the top but Dimelo keeps moving.

Dimelo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kagiyama is aware though and is defending well.

Kagiyama will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Enzo Dimelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dimelo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kagiyama is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dimelo.

Dimelo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

The fighters circling - Kagiyama throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Dimelo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kagiyama sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dimelo somewhat.
Kagiyama looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dimelo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kagiyama to score with a decent uppercut.

Kagiyama cracks Dimelo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Dimelo falls to his knees and Kagiyama doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
