Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Justo Jose Urquiza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sonjo Inami !
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Urquiza closes the distance and clinches.
Urquiza scores with a shot to the side of Inami 's head.
Urquiza lands a left hand.
Inami tries to pull guard but Urquiza holds him up against the cage and eventually Inami drops back down to his feet.
Urquiza makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Inami tries to pull guard but Urquiza forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Urquiza definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nice body punch from Urquiza - that landed with a thud.
Inami fails to pull guard.
Justo Jose Urquiza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sonjo Inami .
Inami wants to break free but Urquiza has control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Urquiza keeps control of Inami as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Inami jumps guard but Urquiza stands there with Inami around his waist. Inami gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Inami blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Inami is trying to pull guard but Urquiza has him pressed against the cage.

Inami pulls guard effortlessly.
Urquiza trying to control the position from guard on top but Inami is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Inami is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Inami stands up and beckons Urquiza to join him on the feet.
Inami misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Urquiza wants to clinch.
Inami circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Urquiza tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Inami paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Inami fails with a takedown attempt.

Urquiza drives through and clinches with Inami against the cage.
Urquiza swings wildly with an uppercut but Inami uses good head movement to avoid it.
Inami tries to pull guard but Urquiza holds him up against the cage and eventually Inami drops back down to his feet.

Inami escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Inami circles away from the clinch attempt.
Urquiza uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Inami .
It looked like Urquiza wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Inami thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Urquiza if he has to take too many more of those.
Urquiza wants to clinch.
Inami only half commits to the counter leg kick.

Urquiza fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Inami , pushing him back against the cage.
Urquiza is pressed up against the cage. Inami has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Urquiza down to the mat. Urquiza avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Inami has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Inami throws a leg kick which misses Urquiza's front leg but catches the back leg as Urquiza tries to avoid it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Urquiza fails with an attempt to clinch.

Urquiza tries to keep at a distance but Inami has taken the fight into the clinch.
Urquiza swings wildly with an uppercut but Inami uses good head movement to avoid it.
Urquiza stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Inami takes a shot to the head.
A right handed body shot lands from Urquiza.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Urquiza misses with a body punch.
Urquiza misses with a hook from the clinch.
Inami jumps guard but Urquiza stands there with Inami around his waist. Inami gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Urquiza misses with the head strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justo Jose Urquiza dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Urquiza goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Inami jumps guard but Urquiza stands there with Inami around his waist. Inami gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Urquiza lands a hook to the side of the head.
Urquiza lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Urquiza misses with a hook from the clinch.

Urquiza lands with a light punch inside.
Urquiza swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Urquiza lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Inami .
Urquiza pushes Inami against the cage. Urquiza is working some dirty boxing. Urquiza pushes off with a quick right hook! Inami goes down! Inami tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Urquiza moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justo Jose Urquiza!
