Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Lourens (ranked 3314 p4p, 464 weight class) and Koh Machino (ranked 3728 p4p, 514 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machino ducks under a wild hook from Lourens .
Machino scores with a push kick.
Lourens on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Machino getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Machino slips under a jab.
Lourens takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Good leg kick by Machino there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Machino lands with an overhand left.
Lourens 's corner calls for a 1-2. Lourens obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Lourens looks to land a right hand but Machino moved out of range.
Lourens works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lourens swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Lourens throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Connor Lourens is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lourens throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Machino jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Machino thuds his right hand into Lourens 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lourens throws a leg kick
and Machino counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Machino throws a good cross that connects.
Machino has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Machino is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lourens had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Lourens moves out of range of the body kick from Machino.
Machino fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

A big right from Machino misses.
Lourens swings widly with a right hand
and Machino counters with a nice kick to the body.
Lourens lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Machino circles away quickly and effectively.
Machino steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
The crowd cheers as Machino lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lourens doesn't seem phased though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lourens walks into a left hand.
Lourens steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Machino. That one must have hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Machino feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lourens s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A solid body kick from Machino.
Machino with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Machino explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Lourens is breathing heavily.
Machino throws a nice outside leg kick.
Machino lands a nice looking body kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Machino.
Lourens takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A lazy left from Machino finds it's target.
Lourens is rocked!
Lourens pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oh Lourens is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Machino moves in close and cracks Lourens with a massive right hand! Lourens , frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Machino!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Koh Machino!
