PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Noah McGowan (ranked 3850 p4p, 472 weight class) and Denis Prager (ranked 7549 p4p, 702 weight class). Noah McGowan had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Noah McGowan had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prager shoots in for a takedown but McGowan shows good takedown defense.
Prager dives in for a single leg takedown but McGowan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
McGowan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Prager takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

McGowan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prager on the ground.

Prager has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of McGowan's face.

Prager lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.


McGowan is rocked!
A big strike lands for Prager! That's really hurt McGowan and he's turned his back - Prager keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Prager jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
