PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cain Silva (ranked 1719 p4p, 257 weight class) and Tommy DeVito (ranked 1028 p4p, 157 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kid Ink - ROUNDS ft. Jeremih & Fabulous. Tommy DeVito has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with DeVito, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes DeVito against the cage but DeVito circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Donk. DeVito catches Silva right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Cain Silva has been cut.
DeVito has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Silva takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but DeVito sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
A little jabbing left from DeVito on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
DeVito catches Silva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

DeVito escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I would just about give that final round to Tommy DeVito.
Well DeVito has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
