Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Booker (ranked 290 p4p, 28 weight class) and Danilo Gentili (ranked 446 p4p, 50 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!

With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Danilo Gentili!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gentili closes the distance and clinches up with Booker, looking for a takedown. Gentili pushes Booker against the cage but Booker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Booker feinted with a counter takedown.
Gentili darts in looking for a takedown but Booker gets double underhooks and turns Gentili into the cage.
Maxwell Booker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danilo Gentili.
Gentili is trying hard to land a takedown here. Booker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Booker changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Booker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Booker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gentili to the ground. Booker is now in Gentili's guard.

Booker is looking for a kimura but Gentili is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Booker to get the leverage.

Gentili tries to roll over but Booker keeps him under control.

Booker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gentili wants to improve his position but Booker is controlling well.
Booker winds up and cracks Gentili with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Booker passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gentili!

Booker lands a big shot there that rocks Gentili but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Gentili is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gentili wants to control but Booker is having none of it.

Booker lands a big shot to the head and Gentili winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
