Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gaudencio Roman (ranked 5420 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viet Nam (ranked 4618 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Nam.

Nam clinches up with Roman and pushes him back against the cage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nam has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Gaudencio Roman will probably get the nod.

Roman closes the distance and clinches up with Nam, looking for a takedown. Roman pushes Nam against the cage but Nam circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Roman lands a nice hook to Nam's body. Nam takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Roman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nam can do to turn this around?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Nam in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
