PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Redcliffe (ranked 5621 p4p, 484 weight class) and Daniel Murphy (ranked 23056 p4p, 666 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Murphy's choice of entrance music: Battering Ram - 'Come Out and Fight' Irish Folk. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murphy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Redcliffe, pushing him back against the cage.

Redcliffe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Redcliffe tries for a takedown but Murphy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Murphy forces Redcliffe back against the cage and clinches.
Redcliffe jumps guard but Murphy turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Murphy manages to break the clinch.

Murphy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Redcliffe to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Redcliffe stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Well Murphy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
