Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Malik Al-Khaldi (ranked 1493 p4p, 202 weight class) and Justin White (ranked 1157 p4p, 157 weight class). Al-Khaldi comes to the cage accompanied by Terror - Shot Of Reality. Malik Al-Khaldi has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Malik Al-Khaldi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Justin White!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White shoots in for a takedown but Al-Khaldi shows good takedown defense.
A solid leg kick lands there for Al-Khaldi.
Al-Khaldi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

White fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Al-Khaldi to the ground. White is now in Al-Khaldi's guard.

Al-Khaldi is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Al-Khaldi pushes White back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Al-Khaldi lands a hook that snaps the head of White backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

White pulls guard successfully.
Al-Khaldi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Al-Khaldi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Al-Khaldi defends well.

White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Al-Khaldi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Al-Khaldi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Al-Khaldi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

White throws his legs up looking for a submission but Al-Khaldi uses it to pass to side control.
Al-Khaldi slows the pace down.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
White tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
White gets back to half guard.
Al-Khaldi slows the pace down in half guard.
White tries to kick Al-Khaldi off in order to stand up. Al-Khaldi Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Al-Khaldi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
White is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
White is trying to escape the position but Al-Khaldi is controlling the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
White is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
White is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

White looks for a takedown but Al-Khaldi sprawls well.
Al-Khaldi tried to counter with a leg kick but White avoided it.
Al-Khaldi connects with a solid leg kick.
Al-Khaldi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Justin White has been cut.
Al-Khaldi pushes White away with a front kick.
Al-Khaldi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Al-Khaldi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Al-Khaldi digs a good hook to White's body.

Al-Khaldi moves into the clinch.
Al-Khaldi scores with a nice hook to the head.
Al-Khaldi lands a right hand.
White jumps guard but Al-Khaldi stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Al-Khaldi lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down White.

Al-Khaldi breaks the clinch.
Al-Khaldi pushes White away with a front kick.
White is breathing heavily.
White takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Al-Khaldi counters with a nice body shot.
Malik Al-Khaldi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin White.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Al-Khaldi scores with the left hand. White knows he should have avoided that one.
Al-Khaldi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Al-Khaldi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that White can do to turn this around?
White darts in trying to clinch
and Al-Khaldi counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Malik Al-Khaldi!
After winning the bout, Malik Al-Khaldi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Justin White stepped up to the mic, saying 'Yeah what can I say he had number but you havnt seen the last one of Justin white and son just shine that title cause its coming back me'.
