The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Reiden tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Stanley defends well and Reiden ends up having to push Stanley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Stanley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Stanley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stanley.
Stanley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Stanley wants to stand but Reiden is controlling his posture from full guard.

Reiden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stanley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stanley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Stanley shoots for a double leg takedown but Reiden sprawls well. He's pushed Stanley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Reiden manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Reiden is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

It looks like Reiden is going to stand back up.

Stanley is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Reiden manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.
