PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clubber Bull (ranked 3803 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Paulman (ranked 4170 p4p, 0 weight class). Bull comes to the cage accompanied by Rage. Paulman has chosen War is my Love as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Clubber Bull has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Clubber Bull seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Clubber Bull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Russell Paulman!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paulman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bull has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Paulman after a bit of a struggle.
Bull is trying to drag Paulman to the mat but Paulman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

We've been informed that Paulman has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Bull is fighting off a takedown attempt but Paulman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bull to the mat. Bull regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Well, if Paulman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Paulman in particular looking to stall.

Bull is trying hard to land a takedown here. Paulman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Russell Paulman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Paulman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
