Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Barathian (ranked 749 p4p, 87 weight class) and Gary Tonon (ranked 1071 p4p, 121 weight class). Barathian comes to the cage accompanied by Anderswelt - Schandmaul. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tonon's choice of entrance music: What About Now. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Barathian. No joy for Tonon on that attempt.
Tonon throws a lazy uppercut
and Barathian counters with a nice uppercut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Barathian.
Barathian bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tonon's head.
Tonon dives in and grabs Barathian's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barathian pushes down on Tonon's head and hops out.
Barathian throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tonon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Barathian is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barathian moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Barathian lands an overhand right.
Barathian works Tonon's body with a nice hook.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Barathian, right into the meat.

Barathian turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tonon throws a nice looking combination but Barathian bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Tonon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Barathian cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Max Barathian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Tonon.

Barathian throws a head kick but Tonon moves out of range.
Tonon unleashes a big counter combination but Barathian bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Tonon gets in close and tags Barathian with a short punch that almost sends Barathian to the mat! Oh Barathian is in big trouble! He turns his back on Tonon, trying to create some distance but Tonon rushes him, striking wildly and Barathian goes down! The referee tackles Tonon into the cage to end the fight! Tonon is one violent man!

A less than humble Gary Tonon misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
