Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Grady Potter (ranked 9862 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mai Pai (ranked 6369 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Grady Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mai Pai!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Potter has managed to clinch.
Potter takes an elbow to the temple.
Potter tries to pull guard but Pai won't allow it.
Pai swings wildly with an uppercut but Potter uses good head movement to avoid it.
A frustrated look appears on Potter's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pai tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Potter avoids it.
Pai pushes Potter back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Potter pulls guard.
Potter wants to get back to his feet but Pai is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Pai stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Potter fails with an attempt to clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Potter.
Potter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pai paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Pai on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Pai lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pai scores with a crisp jab that stopped Potter in his tracks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pai throws a right hand that Potter ducks under and follows up with a left that Potter also avoids with ease.
A big left from Pai misses.
Pai misses with a wild body shot.
Potter moves out of range of the strikes.
Potter wants to clinch.
Grady Potter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Potter tries to clinch up
and Pai counters with a stiff right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pai walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Pai closes the distance and clinches.
Potter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pai smiles and moves away.
Potter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Potter rushes Pai and presses him up against the cage.
Potter tries to land knees in the clinch but Pai avoids the damage to the body.
Potter looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grady Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Potter jumps guard.

Pai stands up from Potter's guard - Pai perhaps looking for a knockout.
Pai loads up on a big right hand but Potter slips the punch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Potter tries to clinch but Pai is having none of it.
Pai fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Pai drives through and clinches with Potter against the cage.
Pai unloads a knee to the mid-section. Potter lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Pai lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Grady Potter has been cut.
Potter takes an elbow to the forehead.

Potter is rocked!
Pai lands an elbow just above Potter 's eye.
Oh Potter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pai has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Potter - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Pai, and another! Potter is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
