Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Charles (ranked 2295 p4p, 118 weight class) and Oddis Slajos (ranked 21374 p4p, 498 weight class). Charles comes to the cage accompanied by Shake It Off. Mike Charles has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Charles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slajos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Slajos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Oh but Charles is tightening it up a little... Slajos has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Slajos reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Slajos taps out! Nice BJJ there by Charles!
