The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crolla shoots in looking for a takedown. Aguiar tries to sprawl out of it but Crolla keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aguiar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Crolla tries to clinch up

and Aguiar counters with a shoot takedown. Crolla fights it but they end up in guard.
Aguiar content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Aguiar scoring with some ground and pound.
Crolla thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Aguiar stands up over Crolla, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aguiar controls from within his opponent's guard.
Aguiar gets to his feet and stands over Crolla, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Crolla felt that one! Aguiar unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Crolla from any more punishment!
