The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalasznikov throws out a leg kick but Zahir moves out of range and Kalasznikov only half commits.

Kalasznikov takes the fight into the clinch.
Kalasznikov prevents Zahir from breaking the clinch.

Kalasznikov gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Zahir regains guard.
Zahir wants to get back to his feet but Kalasznikov passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zahir is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kalasznikov jumps into side control!

Kalasznikov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Zahir manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Kalasznikov has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Kalasznikov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Zahir sprawls well initially but Kalasznikov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Kalasznikov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zahir looks a forlorn figure.
Kalasznikov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Kalasznikov postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Zahir out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Kalasznikov goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
