The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Gallow throws a body punch but Baker moves out of range.
Baker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gallow misses with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Baker.
Gallow tries a body shot but Baker blocks it.
Gallow lands a hook that snaps the head of Baker backwards.
Baker prevents a body shot from Gallow.
Baker goes for a takedown attempt but Gallow pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A slapping body kick lands there for Gallow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gallow scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gallow connects with a solid leg kick.

Baker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baker stops Gallow from standing up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Baker postures up and lands a big shot to Gallow's brow.
Baker won't allow Gallow to get back to his feet.
Baker lands a couple of digs.
Baker passes Gallow's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gallow is looking to get back to is feet but Baker passes into side control.
Gallow is looking to get back to his feet here but Baker is keeping cool and he's managed to take Gallow's back.

Baker is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Gallow with him. Gallow is trying to defend but Baker has an arm under the chin now! Gallow grimaces and is forced to tap out!
