Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dewey Nobrainer (ranked 1120 p4p, 146 weight class) and James Lang (ranked 1256 p4p, 160 weight class). Nobrainer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pink Floyd- another brick in the wall. Lang has chosen Planet Rock as his entrance music. James Lang will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobrainer throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Lang is looking to clinch.
Lang swings for the body but Nobrainer moves out of range.
Lang ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nobrainer lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lang will feel that in the morning.
Lang tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nobrainer was well out of range. Poor timing from Lang.
Lang scores with a sloppy right hand. Nobrainer should have avoided that one.
Lang rushes Nobrainer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

and Nobrainer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lang ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nobrainer moves away.
Nobrainer misses with the combination.
Lang's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lang duly obliges.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lang digs a right hand underneath Nobrainer's ribcage. Nobrainer let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Lang digs a right hand into Nobrainer's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Nobrainer's gas tank.
Lang lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nobrainer backwards.

Lang creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Nobrainer with a big uppercut! Nobrainer tries to clinch up but Lang pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Nobrainer to the mat! Nobrainer covers up and Lang unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). James Lang!

Post fight, an emotional James Lang said 'I pity the fool, and I will destroy any man who tries to take what I got! '.
The defeated Dewey Nobrainer had this to say: 'I am normally the one who does the teaching but I still can learn thing or two every so often..I would like to schedule a rematch right away'.
