The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jelani throws a jab but it's blocked by Markov.
A combination from Jelani does no damage.
Markov feints a jab promting Jelani to slip. Markov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jelani slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Jabari Jelani has been cut.
Markov throws a shot from downtown. Jelani moves away and avoids it.
Jelani tries to land a front kick but Markov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Jabari Jelani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jelani closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Markov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Markov lands a brutal uppercut that launches Jelani off his feet! Jelani tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
