Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chad Masters (ranked 5271 p4p, 273 weight class) and Pablo Silva (ranked 13241 p4p, 446 weight class). Silva has chosen Amazing by Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Masters sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Silva stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Masters has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.
Masters really is a fat lump.

Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Masters has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Masters's legs - danger averted.

Masters looking for a triangle here. Silva is fighting it but it looks tight! Masters pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Silva is tapping out - this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Chad Masters started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
The defeated Pablo Silva had this to say: 'I feel a little disappointed on the outcome of this fight. Today he is the better man and I congratulate him on the win. I promise to my fans I will be back!'.
