Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bluto Braun (ranked 1385 p4p, 153 weight class) and Brandon Stark (ranked 18585 p4p, 660 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bluto Braun!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Stark!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Braun's jab looks to have found its range, popping Stark under the eye.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Stark has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Stark buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Stark throws a sloppy head kick and Braun moves out of range easily.
Braun throws a quick inside leg kick.
Braun throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stark sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stark keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Braun tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stark was well out of range. Poor timing from Braun.
A looping hook to the body misses from Braun. Stark does a little dance to reset his feet.
Braun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stark.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stark throws a push kick but Braun slaps the foot to one side.
Braun half committed to a counter leg kick.
Braun misses with a low kick.

Stark has managed to clinch.
A shot in the inside from Braun.

Braun pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Stark throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Braun throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stark tries to work over Braun's front leg with a kick but Braun checks it.
A counter left hand to the body from Braun misses its target.
Stark slips a straight right by Braun.
Braun throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stark was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
A head kick misses from Braun.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Braun.
Braun throws a series of punches but Stark avoids them all with ease.
Braun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Braun throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Braun gets tackled into the cage by Stark. Stark maintains the clinch.
Stark jumps guard but Braun stands there with Stark around his waist. Stark gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Stark drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stark throws an elbow but it's blocked.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Braun has a couple of punches blocked by Stark.
A body shot lands from Braun.
Good body shot from Braun.
Braun tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Stark blocks a body shot from Braun.
Braun misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Stark letting Braun take a breather here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stark manages to pull guard.
Braun is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Braun with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Braun with a flurry of punches that miss.

Braun is in close to Stark's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Braun sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Braun throws a big right hand that misses.

Stark keeping moving, preventing Braun from controlling successfully.
Stark looking to hit a scissor sweep but Braun is one step ahead there.
Braun wanted to stand there but Stark had control of the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Braun is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Braun's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Braun connects with a couple of short punches.
Stark looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Braun sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Braun trying to control the position from guard on top but Stark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bluto Braun dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Braun thows a left - swing and a miss!
Braun motions for Stark to come forward. Braun throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stark is looking for the big counter here.
Stark scores with a punch to the head.
Stark slips a jab and a cross from Braun.
Braun feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stark's calf.
Stark misses with a wild combination.
Braun lands with a nice body punch.
Stark tries to bum rush Braun with a series of wild strikes but Braun uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bluto Braun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stark thows a leg kick but Braun checks it
and Braun counters with a good low kick that Stark was not able to check.

Braun attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Stark chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Braun can pounce on him.
Stark pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Braun moves out of range of the body kick from Stark.
Braun moves out of range as Stark throws a body kick.
Stark lands a head kick. Braun smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Braun looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stark is looking to clinch but Braun is avoiding it.
Braun circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stark on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The crowd cheers as Braun lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stark doesn't seem phased though.
Stark walks forward, straight into a front kick from Braun.
Stark takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Braun lands a big uppercut and Stark crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Stark looks OK. Braun waves Stark back to his feet!

Stark is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Braun is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Stark flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Stark is out cold! Braun holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
