Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Walter (ranked 5610 p4p, 288 weight class) and Myles Rider (ranked 3188 p4p, 161 weight class). Myles Rider will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rider swivels and escapes.
The crowd cheers as Rider lands an impressive looking overhand right. Walter doesn't seem phased though.

Rider closes the distance and clinches.

Rider is trying to push Walter away but Walter has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Walter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rider walks away with a smile on his face. Walter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Walter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rider has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Well Rider has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
