The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montenegro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Montenegro finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lee uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Diego Montenegro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Montenegro gets a double leg takedown into Lee's guard.
Lee uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Montenegro has his feet on Lee's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Montenegro stops Lee from standing up.
Montenegro is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee tries to get to full guard but Montenegro has control of the leg.
Montenegro is nestled in close to Lee, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Montenegro avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Montenegro wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.

Montenegro thows an elbow strike that misses. Lee gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Montenegro doesn't seem too bothered but Lee quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Montenegro is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Montenegro really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
