Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dave Brown (ranked 2597 p4p, 371 weight class) and Steel Penn Jr (ranked 22068 p4p, 934 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Brown is predictable there
and Penn Jr cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Penn Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brown throws a head kick but Penn Jr moves out of range.

Brown has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Brown's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

Penn Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brown.
Penn Jr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Penn Jr scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Brown to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Brown fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Penn Jr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Penn Jr has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Penn Jr drops his guard momentarily, allowing Brown to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Penn Jr! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Brown takes it!

A relieved looking Dave Brown thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
