The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Valatudo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Nakamura is trying to maintain the position but Valatudo is very close to passing his half guard.
Valatudo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Valatudo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Valatudo maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Nakamura could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Valatudo has cracked it and Nakamura is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Valatudo!
