Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Araujo (ranked 1516 p4p, 213 weight class) and Erland Eliasson (ranked 1747 p4p, 242 weight class). Araujo comes to the cage accompanied by Who Shot Ya?. Eliasson has chosen Radioactive - Imagine Dragons as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo goes for a double leg but Eliasson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Eliasson continues to drive forward.
It seemed like Eliasson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

A little jabbing left from Eliasson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Araujo is defended easily by Eliasson.
It seemed like Eliasson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Araujo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Eliasson avoids it really well and circles away.

Araujo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Eliasson's guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Araujo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Araujo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Araujo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Araujo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Eliasson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Araujo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Eliasson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Araujo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
