The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damianowski scores with a jab to the body.
Fharrat looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Fharrat shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Damianowski's guard.
Fharrat is pushing down on Damianowski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Damianowski is fighting to maintain full guard but Fharrat has managed to sneak the leg through.

Fharrat is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Fharrat escapes and gets back to his feet.
Damianowski throws a body punch but Fharrat moves out of range.
Fharrat drops his hands momentarily and Damianowski takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fharrat wants to clinch.
Fharrat is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fharrat tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Damianowski connects with a single shot there.
Damianowski scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Fharrat throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Damianowski tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fharrat is in Damianowski's guard.

Fharrat thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Fharrat is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Fharrat lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Damianowski wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Fharrat is now in half guard.
Fharrat is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
