Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rustam Kersikov (ranked 2862 p4p, 406 weight class) and Clubber Lang (ranked 2633 p4p, 378 weight class). Kersikov comes into the arena with ЦельРазгроl blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov blocks a low kick nicely.
Kersikov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lang has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kersikov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lang counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Kersikov gets a clinch.
Kersikov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lang's efforts to push away.
Lang struggles to land a body shot inside as Kersikov controls his hands.
Kersikov lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Kersikov manages to break the clinch.
Kersikov connects with a leg kick. Lang looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lang throws a combination. Kersikov tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kersikov clinches.

Lang throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kersikov blocks it with crossed arms.
Lang lands an uppercut.
Kersikov lands a shot to the body.

Lang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kersikov misses with a wild body shot.
Kersikov wants to clinch but Lang slips to the side
and Lang counters with a stiff right hand.
Lang explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kersikov cracks Lang with a right hand to the side of the head.

Lang drops Kersikov with a beautiful combination! Kersikov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lang is looking for the KO!

Kersikov lands a really nice looking cross but Lang seems unphased.
Kersikov lands a head shot.
Lang lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Lang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Lang takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Kersikov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Lang tests Kersikov's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Kersikov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Kersikov lands the left hand.
Kersikov lands a nice shot to the body.
Kersikov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lang doesn't seem bothered though.

Kersikov moves into the clinch.
Kersikov has a couple of punches blocked by Lang.
Kersikov misses with a hook to the ribs.

Kersikov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Kersikov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lang steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Kersikov looks to land a left hand but Lang moved out of range nicely.
Lang looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Kersikov has managed to clinch.

Lang blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kersikov fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Lang using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Lang lands a knee to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kersikov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lang misses with a left hand
and Kersikov counters with a straight right hand.
Kersikov jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kersikov throws a poor cross that misses
and Lang counters with a nice leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lang, right into the meat.

and Lang counters with a stiff right hand.
Rustam Kersikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lang lands a big head kick that sends Kersikov tumbling to the mat! Lang takes a step backwards and waves Kersikov back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Kersikov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crunch! Lang slams his shin into Kersikov's torso.
Kersikov is breathing heavily.
Lang circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Kersikov tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Lang wins by KO!
