The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Silva closes the distance and pushes Meadows back into the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Silva.
Meadows tries to break free but Silva pushes him back against the cage.

Meadows rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage.

Silva has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Meadows is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Silva yanks on the arm and Meadows is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Silva.
