The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carte tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A slow jab from Haiwei misses its intended target.
Haiwei swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Haiwei defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carte.
Haiwei misses with an uppercut. Carte saw that one coming.
Carte fails to land the takedown.
Carte misses with a takedown attempt
and Haiwei connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orson Carte. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carte tries to clinch
and Haiwei counters with a crisp right hand that drops Carte! Haiwei lets Carte back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
