PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harley Steve (ranked 7048 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Jones (ranked 23953 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Harley Steve has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Harley Steve seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Micheal Jones!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
Jones is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Steve with a body shot.

Jones rushes Steve and presses him up against the cage.
Steve is trying to pull guard but Jones turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Jones turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Steve is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Steve slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Steve has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jones is looking to defend but Steve has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jones! Steve pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jones taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Harley Steve!
Harley Steve seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Micheal Jones spoke after the fight, saying 'Damn I Know it Was A Hard Fight Fans, But I'll Win The Next One'.
