The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Castle keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nunez leaves Castle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Castle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nunez is fending him off so far but Castle persists. Nope, Nunez circles away and we're back to standing.
Nunez half committed to a counter leg kick.
Lee Nunez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Castle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Castle shoots in for a takedown but Nunez shows good takedown defense.

Nunez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Castle to the ground. Nunez is now in Castle's guard.
Castle is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Nunez dives into side control.

Nunez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Castle looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nunez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Castle is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nunez lets go of the hold and Castle can pop his arm back in it's socket.
