The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lungerson misses with a double jab.
Curcic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lungerson is fending him off so far but Curcic persists. Nope, Lungerson circles away and we're back to standing.
Curcic tries to clinch but Lungerson moves out of range.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

enabling Curcic to counter with a crisp jab.
Lungerson has his takedown stuffed
and Curcic counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lungerson is lucky that one didn't land flush.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lungerson enables Curcic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lungerson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Curcic is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

That was a close round but I would say that Jamey Lungerson will probably get the nod.

Curcic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lungerson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Curcic has managed to get both his arms back between Lungerson's legs - danger averted.

Curcic decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lungerson, up you get!
Curcic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lungerson's waist but Lungerson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Curcic off to one side.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Lungerson drives through and clinches with Curcic against the cage.
Curcic drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Lungerson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Curcic misses with a takedown attempt - Lungerson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lungerson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Curcic is out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jamey Lungerson will probably get the nod.

Curcic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lungerson walks away with a smile on his face. Curcic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lungerson dives in for a single leg takedown but Curcic sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
And Curcic tries to counter it with a takedown but Lungerson pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Curcic shoots in looking for a takedown but Lungerson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Curcic's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lungerson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
