Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Sloan (ranked 6847 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Ray (ranked 5319 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tsuna Awakens kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sloan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ray.

Ray forces Sloan back against the cage and clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Sloan fails to land.
Ray lands with a short shot to the head.

It looks like Ernest Sloan has been cut.
Ray is pressed up against the cage. Sloan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ray down to the mat. Ray avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
No luck for Sloan with that takedown attempt.
Ross Ray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ray tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sloan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ray somewhat.

Ray with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Sloan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sloan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ray is sitting in close to Sloan's body. Sloan has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ray is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ray is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sloan.
