The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe looks to score with a jab to the body but Hinton is just out of range.
Joe misses with a hook. Hinton ducked under it nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Joe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hinton - the referee stops the clock and Joe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hinton. Joe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Joe lands a right hook to the body.
Joe throws a jab but it's blocked by Hinton.
Joe takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Joe lands a slapping body shot.
Joe slips under a jab from Hinton.
It seemed like Joe was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Joe swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hinton counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Both fighters circling a little - Hinton finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Hinton moves forwards but Joe connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Joe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hinton was well out of range. Poor timing from Joe.
A decent looking cross lands there for Joe.
Joe is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Hinton fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Joe sprawls well initially but Hinton persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Joe scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hinton manages to mount him!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hinton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Joe for as long as he can get away with.
Joe is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Hinton quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Hinton but it's paid off an Joe is forced to tap! Nice work by Hinton.
