Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gonzalez Price!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Price shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carter's guard.
Price tries to free his leg and advance position but Carter is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Price is one step ahead there.
Price trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Price postures up in Carter's guard and throws a big left but Carter blocks it.
Price really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Carter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Carter holds on and takes a little breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Price is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Price's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

It looks like Price might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Price is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Carter pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Carter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Price moves into range and clinches up with Carter.
Price tries to pull guard but Carter forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Price has managed to clinch.
Price is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Carter is defending well.

Carter creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Price tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Carter just stands there and leans against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Gonzalez Price.
I think Price has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
