The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ursin throws a head kick that misses
and Mackre counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mackre fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ursin shoots in looking for a takedown. Mackre tries to sprawl out of it but Ursin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mackre manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mackre throws a sloppy head kick and Ursin moves out of range easily.
As Mackre tries to get set, Ursin tries to push him back and clinch up but Mackre manages to avoid the attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ursin is defended easily by Mackre.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
