Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Atha Wolf (ranked 2342 p4p, 224 weight class) and Master Roshi (ranked 2328 p4p, 221 weight class). Master Roshi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Atha Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Roshi!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wolf clinches.
Wolf throws a punch but it's blocked by Roshi.
Roshi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wolf fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Roshi misses with a takedown attempt - Wolf sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wolf tries to clinch but Roshi is having none of it.

Wolf clinches up against the cage.
Wolf has a couple of punches blocked by Roshi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolf swings wildly with an uppercut but Roshi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Roshi looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Roshi's coach down at BimmerHaus was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Roshi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Roshi is looking to break free of the clinch but Wolf has double underhooks.
Roshi tries to score a body lock takedown but Wolf shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Atha Wolf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Master Roshi.
Roshi has Wolf pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wolf manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Roshi is trying to drag Wolf to the mat but Wolf just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Roshi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Roshi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wolf pulls his leg out and moves away.
Roshi swats away the attempt to clinch by Wolf.
Roshi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Roshi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wolf after a bit of a struggle.

That's time! Wolf's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Roshi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wolf tries to avoid it but Roshi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wolf to the ground. Wolf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Wolf has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
